Highway Infrastructure Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Highway Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading highway-related infrastructure projects from inception to completion.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage the delivery of complex highway projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This will involve working closely with multi-disciplined engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.

You will have a strong technical background in highway design, with experience in using software such as Open Roads Designer or Civil3D. You will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams to achieve project goals.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will have a deep understanding of engineering standards, codes of practice, and local authorities' guidelines. You will be able to interpret and apply these guidelines to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of project plans, budgets, and schedules
  • Manage project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes of practice, and local authorities' guidelines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in highway design and project management
  • Strong technical knowledge of highway design software, including Open Roads Designer or Civil3D
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
