Job Title: Embedded System Specialist

Job Summary

Design and develop embedded systems software from requirements to commercial deployment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new product designs and ensure system efficiency, stability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, code, test, and debug system software
  • Review code and design for quality and performance
  • Analyze and enhance system resources for improved efficiency and scalability
  • Integrate and validate new product designs and ensure seamless system functionality
  • Provide post-production support and collaborate with hardware design and development teams
  • Assess third-party and open-source software for integration and compatibility
Requirements and Skills
  • Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets
  • Solid programming experience in C or C++
  • Proven experience in embedded systems design with pre-emptive, multitasking real-time operating systems
  • Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review
  • Excellent knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces, and hardware subsystems
  • Adequate knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for components
  • Strong documentation and writing skills
  • Experience with NXP iMX8 SoC
  • Experience with Car Infotainment systems (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB setup)
  • Experience with Touch Display systems
