Production Support Specialist

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical and functional support for various data solutions owned and managed by our organization.
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with data solution delivery timelines, quality, stability, performance, and adherence to best practices in a production environment.
  • Focus on ownership of issues from reporting to resolution.
  • Ensure top-class production support and meet or exceed service level commitments (SLAs).
  • Partner with product teams as an application/data/technical SME for migration of re-architected products/product functionalities to the cloud platform.
  • Demonstrate proactive communication with business users, development, technology, support, and delivery teams, and senior management.
  • Lead other production support resources technically and act as a technical SME for end-users regarding application/product issues or inquiries.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of product support services and ensure smooth operation of production systems.
  • Work in a follow-the-sun support model providing cross-team support coverage across digital data dev division responsibilities.
  • Remain flexible to support digital data dev responsibilities by providing cross-team support coverage.
  • Monitor critical processes and overall health reports (performance and functional) of production and pre-production environments.
  • Monitor routine system configuration changes and upgrades.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of system support documentation and processes.
  • Ensure application availability time targets SLA and participate in BC/DR exercises.
  • Ensure all policies, standards, and best practices are followed and kept up to date.
  • Complete emergency production fixes timely and accurately in a manner that is auditable, testable, and maintainable.
  • Ensure platform fixes are consistent with architecture design and specifications.
  • Achieve and maintain the highest business customer confidence and net promoter score (NPS).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Any Specialization
  • Master's Degree: Any Postgraduate
