Master Data Governance Expert

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Master Data Governance (MDG) expert to lead our data governance efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data strategy, master data management, and metadata management.

The MDG expert will be responsible for designing, architecting, and implementing MDM solutions that align with our business objectives. This includes developing and operationalizing data governance frameworks, enabling data stewardship workflows, and integrating MDM systems with upstream and downstream applications.

The successful candidate will also collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement MDM strategies, standards, and operating models. Additionally, they will assess, validate, and implement MDM architectures for on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with MDM and ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, and Reltio.
  • Strong knowledge of reference data management and data stewardship workflows.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools and integration platforms.
  • Familiarity with data governance tools and DQ tools.
  • Basic understanding of data governance best practices, data quality management, and data privacy regulations.
  • Familiarity with AI, machine learning, and analytics technologies.
  • Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Python, or other database languages.
