As a data engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and building scalable, reliable, and efficient data platforms that drive business value.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in software engineering, with expertise in Python and a deep understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.

  • Solid programming skills, especially in Python, are essential for this role. You will work on writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code to solve complex problems.

A deep understanding of data platforms is crucial for this position. You should have hands-on experience building and scaling data platforms in production environments.

  • Conceptual and practical knowledge of end-to-end data platform architecture, from ingestion to transformation to consumption, is required.

Expertise in cloud-based data engineering, particularly with AWS services such as Amazon EMR, AWS Glue, Amazon S3, Redshift, Athena, and EventBridge, is highly desirable.

  • Hands-on experience with these services and the ability to integrate them into scalable and decoupled data pipelines and microservices are essential.

Proficiency in building event-driven systems using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Amazon SQS/SNS, and EventBridge is also required.
