Job Overview:

The Data Engineer will play a pivotal role in test data management. This role will work with various members of the development team in gathering test data requirements and ensure timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gathers and analyzes test data requirements for various applications within the organization.
  • Understands a program's architecture/design, logical and physical data models.
  • Works with different data sources and external teams to complete data requirements.
  • Defines and estimates project proposals related to test data design and development.
  • Ability to work on data architecture projects independently with minimal or no oversight required.
  • Examines and discovers methods to improve the accuracy, effectiveness, and dependability of data quality and support.
  • Maintains the sales demo site built to allow clients first-hand experience with the customer portal.

Qualifications:

Required Experience / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science or engineering or related coursework.
  • 5 to 8 years of solid experience in data management that includes data analysis, data mining, and reporting.
  • Experience working in database environments like Teradata, Oracle, SQL, MongoDB.
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms like AWS (Databricks).
  • Experience using service virtualization tools like DevTest, Micro Focus, etc.
  • Knowledge of API tools like Postman, SoapUI, etc.
  • Experience in business requirement analysis, test design, defect logging, and tracking.
  • Experience in Git-based source control tools like GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment along with tools like Jira, Rally, etc.

Desired Experience:

  • Healthcare domain knowledge.
  • Automation framework knowledge like Cypress, WebdriverIO.
  • Programming skills like TypeScript, JavaScript, Python.
  • Familiarity with Tableau or other analytics software.
  • Experience in testing methodologies, software testing principles, and test management tools.
  • Solid understanding of web and mobile testing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid analytical skills, highly organized, self-motivated, and a quick learner.
  • Flexible and willing to accept change in priorities as necessary.
