Credit Manager Job Description


Job Title: Credit Manager


Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Credit Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for underwriting business loans, maintaining stipulated turnaround times, and ensuring productivity in the geography.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Underwriting of Business Loans: The Credit Manager will be responsible for underwriting business loans, ensuring that all loans are thoroughly evaluated and approved or rejected based on our credit policies.
  • Maintaining Stipulated TAT: The Credit Manager will be responsible for maintaining stipulated turnaround times for all loan applications, ensuring that all loans are processed efficiently and effectively.
  • Productivity of the Geography: The Credit Manager will be responsible for ensuring productivity in the geography, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to improve performance.
  • Decisioning and Review: The Credit Manager will be responsible for decisioning and reviewing cases, ensuring that all loans are thoroughly evaluated and approved or rejected based on our credit policies.
  • Disbursement and Portfolio Management: The Credit Manager will be responsible for ensuring seamless management of disbursement activities and post-disbursement monitoring, maintaining portfolio quality as guided by the central team.
  • Vendor Management and Stakeholder Co-ordination: The Credit Manager will be responsible for vendor management and co-ordinating with local stakeholders for seamless functioning.
  • Minimizing Delinquency and Quick Mortality Cases: The Credit Manager will be responsible for minimizing early delinquent and quick mortality cases, ensuring that all loans are thoroughly evaluated and approved or rejected based on our credit policies.
