Customer Service Representative Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-friendly representative to manage billing operations and ensure smooth checkout experiences for our customers.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling payments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting sales operations while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Greet customers at the billing counter and provide a seamless checkout experience.
  • Handle cash, card, UPI, and other digital transactions accurately.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system, generate bills, and issue receipts.
  • Maintain register accuracy and reconcile daily sales.
  • Support returns, exchanges, and refund processes as per company policy.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to ensure smooth customer flow.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at the billing counter.
  • Assist with basic stock and inventory recording when required.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: 1–2 years in customer-facing roles or retail sales operations (fashion/apparel/sportswear preferred).
  • Education: Minimum 12th pass; Graduate preferred.
  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and customer-friendly approach.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, UPI & card machines.
  • Honest, reliable, and able to handle financial responsibility.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak hours.
