Electrical Engineering Leader Job
  • We are seeking an exceptional Electrical Engineering Leader to spearhead the delivery of complex projects, ensuring technical excellence and commercial success.

To achieve this, you will:

  1. Act as Project Leader for multidisciplinary projects, overseeing technical and financial performance in collaboration with senior project managers.
  2. Drive high-quality electrical engineering designs, including High Voltage and Extra Low Voltage systems, ensuring resilience and compliance with industry standards.
  3. Mentor junior engineers, fostering continuous professional development and growth within the team.
  4. Lead technical/quality reviews of specifications, reports, and drawings to maintain excellence and compliance with our Quality Management System.
  5. Develop project delivery programs and resource schedules, balancing requirements with team availability and optimizing project timelines.
  6. Analyze departmental performance across technical, financial, commercial, and people aspects, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  7. Organize project workshops and reviews, leveraging the expertise of our team members and stakeholders.
  8. Promote integrated services to clients and represent the company at meetings and presentations, building strong relationships and securing repeat business.
  9. E nsure projects are delivered to the highest technical standards, on time, and financially successful.

Your ideal background includes:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
  • No less than 15 years of experience in electrical engineering and building services, with a proven track record of delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in High Voltage systems, resilient systems, and specialist Extra Low Voltage systems (secure environments).
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical engineering, with a broad understanding of other building services and related design disciplines.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing large, multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to lead presentations and manage complex stakeholder groups.
  • Strong commercial awareness, ensuring projects achieve financial success.
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, listening).
