Job Description:
The Underwriter is responsible for critically assessing the creditworthiness of loan applicants and the eligibility of properties.
To be successful, you will need to possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate loan applications and supporting documentation
- Analyze credit reports, property valuations, and other relevant information
- Making informed decisions on loan approval or denial
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless processing of loans
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in mortgage underwriting or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Strong understanding of mortgage regulations and guidelines
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
