Project Leadership Role

The Senior Project Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects across varying complexities.

This position requires involvement from the sales stage through to successful project execution, encompassing planning, organizing, executing, managing stakeholders, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring high-quality delivery within strict deadlines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Sales Engagement: Participate in Sales and Marketing calls during the sales phase to understand customer needs and requirements.
  • Project Initiation: Lead internal and external project kick-offs with stakeholders through formal presentations, including delivery methodology, project scope, team structure, high-level plan, and governance structures.
  • Project Planning: Define, publish, and actively follow high-level and detailed project plans throughout execution, revising and formalizing plans as needed to address deviations and changes.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage project teams to deliver solutions, resolving unique project challenges daily.
  • Communication: Send formal reports to stakeholders at defined frequencies to ensure transparency and understanding.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks and issues proactively to minimize their impact on the project.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop deep functional and technical understanding of Mareana's products and services to effectively lead projects.
  • Customer Expectations: Manage customer expectations and implement effective project governance to ensure successful project delivery.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on projects related to supply chain, manufacturing, sustainability, and unstructured data. You will be responsible for driving project success, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality outputs.

Working effectively across distributed teams in multiple time zones is essential for this role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to build and maintain strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
