Category & Brand Management Lead

We are seeking a seasoned professional to drive the growth of our lifestyle categories through strategic brand partnerships and expert assortment planning.

About the Role:

This leadership position offers P&L ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and high visibility in a fast-paced consumer business. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies aligned to business objectives, creating comprehensive assortment plans, and ensuring optimal on-shelf availability.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Brand Partnership Development
    • Identify and develop strong relationships with homegrown and established lifestyle brands
    • Negotiate mutually beneficial agreements to enhance brand presence and margin growth
  • Category Strategy Execution
    • Develop and execute category strategies aligned to business goals and market trends
    • Create and implement effective assortment plans to meet customer demands
    • Monitor consumer behavior and market developments to inform category decisions
  • Business Growth & Profitability
    • Drive revenue and margin growth through data-driven pricing, promotions, and forecasting
    • Boost Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) growth through targeted campaigns and activations
    • Stay ahead of competitors and industry trends to identify new opportunities for growth
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with sourcing, design, supply chain, technology, finance, and marketing teams to achieve business objectives
    • Share insights on customer journeys, merchandising, and platform improvements to enhance overall performance

The ideal candidate should have 5–8 years of experience in category management, brand partnerships, or business development (lifestyle, fashion, accessories, or e-commerce preferred).

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in vendor negotiations, assortment planning, and sales forecasting
  • Strong commercial acumen with analytical skills (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Mixpanel preferred)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple brands and stakeholders
