Database Development Leadership

We are seeking an accomplished Database Technical Lead to oversee our database development projects.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages.

This role involves the design, development, testing, and maintenance of database development projects.

  • Key responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and releasing new and existing PL/SQL packages, procedures to support development efforts.
  • The successful candidate will review PL/SQL packages for changes, performance, and tuning improvements.
  • They will develop complex SQL queries, views, and MVs using coding skills.
  • Work closely with developers, system administrators, and data analysts to support database-related needs.
  • Identify and resolve database issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex database-related problems.
  • Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6-10 years' experience in database development.
  • Excellent managerial skills.
  • Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team of database developers.
