Cyber Security Associate

We are seeking a motivated Cyber Security Associate to join our team. This role will provide an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the field of Cyber Security, working with cutting-edge technologies and collaborating with experienced professionals.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the operation and configuration of security monitoring tools, including SIEM, Intrusion Detection Systems, Data Loss Prevention, WAF, Advanced Threat Protection, and others. They will work on a 24x7 shift pattern, acting as the first line of defense to identify, secure, and react to pre-defined security alerts using run books. Additionally, they will assist in responding to high-impact incidents, working closely with internal stakeholders across the organization.
To succeed in this role, you will need to stay up-to-date with the latest threats and technologies in the Cyber Security world, actively contributing to process improvements and solution development. You will also be responsible for utilizing various tools such as SIEM, Endpoint protection, Web application Firewalls, Data Loss prevention, etc. to interpret Vulnerability Scans, security logs, and identify risk patterns or breaches.
You will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and application teams to analyze the root cause of incidents, monitor security access, conduct security assessments, and perform risk analysis. We are looking for someone who is passionate about Cyber Security, has relevant experience, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or Information Technologies. Experience in Splunk and Crowdstrike is preferred but not essential.
