Job Summary

Fortrea Development India Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Contract Specialist II to join our team. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will be responsible for managing site agreements and ensuring compliance with internal processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage site agreements and ensure timely updates to the departmental Site Agreement Management System.
  2. Negotiate and approve site agreements and templates with minimal guidance from line management or more experienced colleagues.
  3. Identify and escalate issues that require review by line manager.
  4. Confirm quality of tasks delegated to and completed by Contracts Associate.
  5. Manage assigned studies with careful compliance with internal processes and procedures.
  6. Responsible for timely updating of the departmental contract tracking system.
  7. Perform contract administration functions, including maintaining a contract tracking system and providing notice of executed contracts to team members.
  8. Support line manager with departmental goals, objectives, and initiatives.
  9. Provide regular status updates on open contracts and outstanding issues.
  10. Draft, negotiate, review, and process contracts in a commercially reasonable manner that protects Fortrea's interests.
  11. Negotiate contractual terms with other contracting parties in a professional manner.
  12. Apply knowledge of ICH GCP principles to work and follow quality standard procedures.
  13. Identify potential obstacles in the contracting process and request assistance as necessary.
  14. Work closely with staff to keep them informed of progress and avoid delays in execution.
  15. Provide support to other Site Agreements staff and assist internal staff with contractual inquiries.
  16. Facilitate the internal review/revision/sign off process on contracts prior to forwarding to external parties.
  17. Coordinate and communicate with clinical study teams regarding contract details and timelines.
