IIB Middleware Developer

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our middleware team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting integration solutions using IBM Integration Bus (IIB).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Integration Flows: Utilize IBM Integration Bus (IIB) to create robust integration flows that enable seamless communication between diverse systems.
  • Maintain Message Flows and Integration Components: Develop and maintain message flows, ESQL, JavaCompute nodes, and other integration components to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with Business Stakeholders: Work closely with business analysts and architects to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to middleware and integration components, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • Perform Testing and Quality Assurance: Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality of integration solutions.
  • Monitor and Optimize Performance: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of integration solutions to meet evolving business needs.
  • Document Design and Development Procedures: Document design, development, and operational procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and best practices adoption.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience as an IIB Developer: Proven experience as an IIB Developer with hands-on experience in IBM Integration Bus (v9, v10, or later).
  • Strong Knowledge of ESQL and Java: Strong knowledge of ESQL, Java, and message flow development is essential for this role.
  • Familiarity with WebSphere MQ and Messaging Concepts: Familiarity with WebSphere MQ (MQ Series) and messaging concepts is necessary for effective integration solution development.
  • Understanding of Middleware Architecture and Integration Patterns: Understanding of middleware architecture and integration patterns is crucial for designing and developing robust integration solutions.
  • Experience with XML and JSON Data Transformation Techniques: Experience with XML, JSON, and related data transformation techniques is required for successful data exchange between systems.
