Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Risk Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operational risk management, with a focus on information and technology risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement risk frameworks aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Participate in strategic projects, such as system implementations and regulatory efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with risk governance standards and promote a strong risk culture.
Operational Management
  • S support RCSA program execution by planning and executing risk and control self-assessments.
  • Issue monitoring and remediation coordination: track and resolve open issues across risk domains.
  • P olicy and procedure management: maintain and update risk-related documentation.
  • C ontrol testing execution: perform and document control tests.
  • D ocumentation & reporting: prepare reports and dashboards for transparency.
  • C ontinuous improvement: recommend enhancements to controls and methodologies.
  • P roject management skills: track progress and direct team efforts.
People Leadership
  • S takeholder engagement: collaborate with internal teams and communicate findings.
  • F ostering team cohesion and performance: lead and motivate the team.
  • S trong presentation and communication skills: communicate effectively across levels and demonstrate leadership in team settings.
Governance & Risk
  • C ompliance & standards alignment: ensure adherence to internal and external standards.
  • E xperience in operational risk management: focus on information/technology risk.
  • I ndustry frameworks familiarity: knowledge of NIST, FFIEC, COBIT, ISO27002, OWASP.
  • P referred certifications: CISSP, CRISC, CISA, CISM.
  • I ssue identification & escalation: identify and escalate control deficiencies.
RequirementsQualifications
  • E ducational and professional qualifications:
  • C hartered accountant/master's degree in business administration, commerce, finance.
  • M inimum 4 years of experience in operational risk management (with a focus on information/technology risk) and operations/accounting within the financial services industry.
  • E xperience in the second line of defense is desirable.
  • S trong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and experience in financial services, preferably in the fund services environment.
  • P roven ability to demonstrate detailed knowledge of various operational risk types and internal control principles to support the execution of risk programs.
