Job Description:

The primary objective of this role is to drive and sustain a culture of manufacturing excellence across the organization. This involves identifying and implementing process improvements, leveraging innovative thinking and best-in-class methodologies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To lead and facilitate the implementation of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) practices across pan-India plants.
  • To work closely with key business stakeholders and the Centre of Excellence to create a continuous improvement environment that supports ongoing manufacturing transformation.
  • Responsibility for eliminating unnecessary complexity within business processes and identifying better ways of working to achieve better value and greater efficiency.
  • To take ownership of change initiatives from evolution/efficiency identification through to project delivery via internal governance and controls.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Implementing the standard world-class manufacturing framework across pan-India plants.
  • Monitoring project risks to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address in advance.
  • Ensuring the business impact and project objectives/dependencies are identified, reported on, and managed at all times.

Requirements:

  • Good honors degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Excellent understanding of continuous improvement concepts including Six Sigma, Lean, and value stream mapping.
  • Strong analytical, project and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements.
