About the Role:

As QA Lead, you'll play a key part in developing scalable web applications and infrastructure. Your responsibilities include defining test strategies for features, releases, and systems across multiple teams.

  • Test Strategy Definition: Develop comprehensive test plans to ensure high product quality.
  • Manual and Automated Testing: Lead testing efforts to identify defects and improve overall product quality.
  • Mentorship: Guide a team of QA engineers through technical and process coaching.
  • Collaboration: Work with Product Managers, Engineers, and DevOps to ensure alignment on quality goals.

You will also be responsible for driving release readiness, managing QA efforts across weekly/bi-weekly release cadences, identifying and covering edge cases, and working with automation engineers to improve CI/CD pipeline integration and coverage.

A successful QA Lead promotes a strong customer-first quality mindset across engineering, encourages self-learning within the QA team, and stays current with modern QA tools and methodologies.

To succeed as a QA Lead, you should have 8+ years of professional experience, recent 2-3+ years as a Lead, strong experience in web application and API testing, solid automation experience using Python/Java, and experience working in agile teams with fast release cycles.
