Senior SDET Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our growing Quality Assurance team.

This role involves writing and maintaining both UI and backend automation tests, ensuring the highest quality standards across the application.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of QA processes, and a proven ability to be an independent contributor who can unblock themselves and peers.

  • Test Automation Development: Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for both UI and backend using Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, Postman, and Cucumber frameworks.
  • API testing: Write automated API tests using RestAssured and Postman for validating RESTful APIs.
  • Agile and Continuous Integration (CI/CD): Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure tests are executed as part of the build and deployment processes.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in mentoring junior team members, ensuring best practices in testing, and collaborating effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, Postman, and Cucumber.
  2. Write and maintain test cases that cover functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality goals and deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional technical problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly analyze complex issues and resolve them independently.
  • Strong understanding of QA processes and methodologies.
  • Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments and services (AWS, Azure, etc.).
  • Required experience of 5 to 8 years.
