Software Quality Assurance Engineer

The primary goal of the Software Quality Assurance Engineer is to ensure that software applications are thoroughly tested for quality and performance. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of engineers to test and validate software applications.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement fixes and improvements.
  • Conduct regular testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and system testing.
  • Identify and prioritize test cases based on business requirements and risk analysis.
  • Develop and maintain testing tools and frameworks to streamline testing processes.
  • Provide detailed testing reports and recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks, such as Selenium.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and scripting languages.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
