Lead QA (LQA) - Automation & Performance Testing\

As a seasoned testing professional, we are seeking a skilled Lead QA to spearhead our automation and performance testing efforts.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 8+ years of overall experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation and performance testing for the past 3.5 to 5 years.

Key Responsibilities:\
  • Design and execute performance test plans to assess system scalability, reliability, and responsiveness using appropriate performance testing tools.
  • Develop and implement automation frameworks using tools like Selenium with C# or Java, TestNG, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Lead and mentor QA teams in implementing automation and performance testing best practices and strategies.
  • Use tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or similar for test execution and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs and develop efficient testing strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our testing processes remain effective and relevant.
Required Skills and Qualifications:\
  • 8+ years of total experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation and performance testing for the past 3.5 to 5 years.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor QA teams in implementing automation and performance testing best practices and strategies.
  • Hands-on expertise in Selenium with C# or Java, working knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber, and experience with tools like TestNG, Jenkins, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficient in at least one programming language, such as C#, Java, or Python.
  • Experience in designing and executing performance test plans to assess system scalability, reliability, and responsiveness using appropriate performance testing tools.
  • Skilled in monitoring and reporting QA metrics, including test coverage, defect trends, and overall quality indicators.
  • Familiar with Agile, Scrum, or any other methodologies, actively contributing to sprints and collaborating across teams.
  • Strong experience in stakeholder communication, team leadership, and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills, confident in client interactions, and effective in cross-functional collaboration.
