Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Junior Sustainability Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development of ESG strategies and sustainability initiatives.

This role involves assisting in the implementation, monitoring, and analysis of environmental data, including greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, energy consumption, water use, waste management, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of ESG reporting standards and frameworks such as GRI, SASB, CDP, and TCFD.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement ESG strategies and sustainability initiatives.
  2. Collect, manage, and analyze environmental data, including GHG emissions, energy consumption, and water use.
  3. Support the preparation of sustainability reports and disclosures in accordance with relevant frameworks.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely data reporting.
  5. Conduct research on sustainability trends and best practices to enhance ESG policies and strategies.
  6. Communicate sustainability initiatives, progress, and impact to internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Identify and implement opportunities for improving environmental and social performance.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Technology/Engineering or Environmental Science, and Master's degree in Sustainability or Business.
  • 1-2 years of experience in ESG, sustainability reporting, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection and analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
