Our ideal candidate is a skilled and ambitious professional with strong technical skills and expertise in Java Backend Development. We are seeking to recruit a talented individual who can drive the development of our web applications using best engineering practices.

The role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Developing and implementing responsive web applications using Java technology stack.
  2. Designing and developing scalable and efficient software systems.
  3. Collaborating with product managers and other engineers to implement versatile solutions to complex problems.
  4. Drive automation and ensure automated test scripts are completed for new features in partnership with QA Engineers.
  5. Performing ongoing refactoring of code and delivering continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-4 years of work experience in Java development.
  • Strong knowledge of Java programming language, including design patterns and principles.
  • Good understanding of web fundamentals and HTTP protocol.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively with others.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and containers like Docker.
