Strategic Liaison Officer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to build and maintain relationships with government and industry stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for collaboration and partnership between government, industry, and academia.
  • Develop and manage budgets to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Provide high-quality reports and presentations to senior management and other stakeholders.
Selection Criteria:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent competency.
  • Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders across government, industry, and academia.
  • Extensive experience in cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated political acumen to navigate complex political landscapes and influence decision-making processes.
  • Strong integrity, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of contemporary issues in relation to geo-politics, economics, and international education.
  • Experience in leading engagements and negotiations to achieve productive government and industry relationships.
  • Well-developed planning and organizational skills with a proven ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in adapting to a range of digital systems and platforms to increase efficiency of operations.
