Job Overview

Aptimized is seeking a skilled professional to drive enterprise data initiatives from offshore. This role combines hands-on data engineering and ETL development with business intelligence and power BI reporting delivery, ensuring timely and accurate insights for business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and publish Power BI dashboards, paginated reports, and self-service datasets tailored for reporting requirements.
  • Implement data models optimized for performance and governance.
  • Create reusable DAX measures, Power Query transformations, and semantic layers to support scalable data pipelines.
  • Evaluate and ensure reports and dashboards adhere to security best practices, while providing high-quality dashboards and reports for better decision-making.
  • Support business teams with ad-hoc analysis and report automation, focusing on timely and accurate insights.

Data Engineering & Integration

  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to load and transform data into data warehouses and marts, ensuring data quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with onsite data architects and engineers to optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views supporting reporting needs.
  • Integrate structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data into reporting environments, promoting seamless data workflows.

Collaboration & Offshore Delivery

  • Work closely with onsite leads, data architects, and business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Provide regular status updates, documentation, and knowledge transfer to ensure alignment with enterprise BI initiatives.
  • Maintain consistent coding standards and best practices across offshore team members, fostering collaboration and expertise sharing.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and automation of reporting workflows, driving efficiency and accuracy.
