Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Administrator to assist with the design, maintenance, and monitoring of our IT infrastructure. This position will continually improve IT infrastructure standards, policies, and procedures for our organization.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in system administration, with a focus on Windows Server environments. They will be proficient in managing on-premises/cloud Windows server deployments in Hyper-V, Azure, and AWS. Additionally, they should have expertise in hybrid Active Directory environments, scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash), and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will work closely with our US-based IT team to align infrastructure practices and standards across the organization. They will be responsible for configuring, deploying, and maintaining Azure, AWS, and Hyper-V Server environments, as well as administering and addressing user support tickets in alignment with ITIL principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, deploy, and maintain Azure, AWS, and Hyper-V Server environments.
  • Administer and address user support tickets.
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain Active Directory services.
  • Administer and maintain a hybrid Active Directory environment.
  • Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 services.
  • Collaborate with the IT Security team to implement security best practices and controls.
  • Administer and maintain regular backups and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of Infrastructure services.
  • Generate regular reports on server performance, security, and compliance metrics.

The ideal candidate will be able to proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and issues early in the process, developing effective mitigation strategies. They will also prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing business needs and market conditions.
