Murex Implementations Project Manager

This is a leadership role where you will be responsible for managing a team to deliver the Murex upgrade program from an offshore location.

The ideal candidate should have strong project management skills, with experience in leading teams and managing projects from start to finish. They should also have a good understanding of Murex architecture and be able to comprehend end-to-end processes.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Leading and managing a team to deliver the Murex upgrade program
  • Responsible for end-to-end execution of the project, including project initiation, planning, scheduling, execution, and completion
  • Stakeholder communication, stakeholder management, and fostering strong relationships with clients, team members, and end-user stakeholders
  • Identifying risk, issues, critical path activities, and tracking their mitigations, resolution, and coming up with solutions
  • Providing status updates related to all stakeholders
  • Responsible for people management and resource management
  • Project status tracking and setting up different levels of governance

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • At least 15+ years of experience in Murex implementations
  • 6+ years of experience in Murex project management and program management
  • Strong understanding of Murex architecture and ability to comprehend end-to-end processes
  • Subject matter expert in at least one Murex module (MxML & Back Office Workflows, Datamart Reporting, or Front Office)
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Experience on handling at least one Murex upgrade project, project management tools exposure (Jira etc.) & scrum certification
