Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to fill the position of Billing Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize ERP software to identify outstanding accounts and generate bills and invoices specific to customer requirements
  • Deliver invoices to clients via digital services
  • Reconcile all payments with invoices and receive and sort incoming payments, including cash, DC/CC, online payments
  • Manage petty cash and identify any inconsistencies in transactions or pricing in ERP
  • Regularly update receivables specific to customers
  • Answer customer queries and address problems
  • Submit all cash collected to the concerned authority at the end of the day
  • Reconcile all payments received at the end of the day
  • Prepare and submit daily sales reports to the Accounts team
  • Generate monthly reports and present to the Reporting Authority

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or equivalent
  • Understanding of accounting software/ERP such as Oracle/SAP
  • Strong computational skills
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Ability to be productive without oversight
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Robust written and communication skill set
  • Basic understanding of office software and machinery

Preferred Skills:

  • 1 year of experience as a Billing Executive at a retail store
  • Understanding of relevant laws and regulations
  • Passion for numbers and financial data
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
