Atlassian Administrator Position Overview

This role focuses on expert Atlassian product administration, ensuring seamless delivery of solutions architecture to clients.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with extensive expertise in analysing, troubleshooting, implementing and supporting Jira and Confluence Cloud.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills at all levels, be able to clearly articulate plans verbally and in written form, and have a strong understanding of security policies, user management and best practices.

  • Collaborate closely with Senior Technical Management, Product Owners and Project Managers to develop and implement requirements.
  • Deliver service improvements by working smarter and utilizing better tools without unnecessary investment in new products.
  • Improve alignment of Technology solutions with Operational areas to focus on practical delivery of solutions architecture to FIL.
  • Provide ownership and regular updates of issues including supporting users with best practice advice until request has been resolved.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, research, analyse and provide solutions to simple and medium-complexity problems encountered.

Key Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in managing Jira Cloud and Confluence Cloud within a professional environment.
  • Demonstrated ability in Agile methodologies and cloud-based project management tools.
  • Comprehensive understanding of security policies, user management, best practices, design, usage, implementation and troubleshooting.
  • Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills in a cloud-based setting.
  • Proficient in Shell, Python and Groovy scripting for automating tasks to minimise manual workload.
  • Strong knowledge in creating reports on Jira Dashboards and EazyBI.
  • Outstanding implementation skills in managing Jira custom fields, workflow management and developing common templates.
