Service Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineering Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for supporting technical experts in solving Service Now tasks, particularly with main bearing related tasks.

The specialist will be the document author for MSE owned documents in Teamcenter and Windchill, creating and maintaining failed component information, and regularly updating management about new potential serial defects.

This is an exciting role where dealing with unexpected situations and time-sensitive tasks is part of the day-to-day business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting technical experts in solving Service Now tasks
  • Being a focal point of contact for technical issues between local business units and central business units
  • Assignment of tasks along the technical support process
  • Collecting information about mechanical components of wind turbines
  • Identification and reporting of potential serial issues
  • Evaluation of risk potential, budgeting, and scheduling of necessary activities related to major non-conformities
Career/Job Experience:

We require a minimum 6-8 years experience (preferably from wind industry) in Mechanical drive trains and roller bearing design and development, evaluation of fault conditions, and error analysis.

Strong project coordination or similar role experience, analytical and data manipulation skills in Excel, strong organizational and time management skills, and good stakeholder management are also essential.

Education and Qualification:

A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering and knowledge in Teamcenter PLM, Windchill PLM, SAP are required.

Personal Profile/Competencies:

Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented and organized, good team player, adaptable to change, ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, and strong technical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Word and Excel are essential for this role.
