Job Role Overview

The primary objective of this position is to provide expert support in financial operations by leveraging strong background knowledge in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Auditing:
    • Prepare and disseminate daily sales reports to department heads and stakeholders.
    • Run day-end reports in Jonas System and generate necessary reports by departments/outlets.
    • Audit revenue transactions for accuracy, ensuring compliance with established standards.
    • Prepare and issue management reports as required.
    • Reconcile credit cards daily and post to the system.
    • Ensure proper backup and authorization for rebates and discounts.
  • Cash Management:
    • Collect and count cashier envelopes daily with a witness.
    • Record amounts received in the General Cashier Daily Report.
    • Manage and reconcile petty cash, disburse cash after verifying requests, and maintain a register of petty cash advances.
    • Supervise outlet cashiering staff to ensure effective operations.
  • Accounting Administration:
    • Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and assist with financial reporting.
    • Assist the chief accountant with annual and interim audits.
    • Maintain proper filing and ensure adherence to record retention policies.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken).
