Job Title: Data Solutions Architect

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing insightful data solutions that transform assessment data into actionable intelligence. Working with data from various platforms, you'll create visualizations that bring clarity to complex results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand business needs and design solutions that meet those needs.
  • Architect, design, and implement warehouse and reporting solutions.
  • Extract data from diverse applications and third-party products.
  • Consolidate multiple data sources into a centralized repository.
  • Ensure data is accessible and structured to facilitate reporting requirements.
  • Set up dashboards and reports in data visualization tools.
  • Build resilient, reliable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Stay ahead of issues with proactive monitoring and alerting.
  • Implement best practices and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software.
  • Work with product management to prioritize technical debt remediation and refactoring of data structures.
  • Mentor junior team members in development practices and assist with design and architecture decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 10+ years of strong experience with SQL Servers and relational databases.
  • Strong experience querying and optimizing complex data sets.
  • Experience working with legacy code and systems.
  • End-to-end knowledge from product databases to information visualization.
  • Experience in Azure cloud technologies and data warehousing.
  • Expertise in data visualization and reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to self-organize, prioritize, and track tasks.
  • Teamwork and collaboration.
