Strategic Delegate Growth Specialist

The Strategic Delegate Growth Specialist will lead the delegate acquisition team to achieve attendance and revenue targets for events, conferences, and exhibitions. This role involves strategizing and executing plans to attract relevant delegates, including senior executives, industry leaders, and decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive delegate acquisition strategies to achieve attendance and revenue goals.
- Analyse market trends, audience demographics, and event objectives to identify target delegate profiles.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
2. Team Leadership & Management:
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing delegate acquisition team.
- Set and monitor individual and team KPIs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
3. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Cultivate relationships with senior executives, decision-makers, and industry professionals.
- Engage with key stakeholders to ensure their participation and satisfaction.
- Develop partnerships with associations, organizations, and groups to boost delegate numbers.
4. Sales & Revenue Generation:
- Drive delegate sales for premium ticket categories, workshops, and add-on experiences.
- Oversee pricing strategies and discount models to maximize conversions and profitability.
5. Operations & Reporting:
- Monitor registration systems, ensuring smooth processes for attendees.
- Provide regular reports on delegate acquisition performance, challenges, and insights.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and maintain the integrity of delegate information.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Experience: 12+ years in delegate acquisition, sales, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in achieving delegate acquisition targets for large-scale events or conferences.
- Strong understanding of CRM tools and marketing automation platforms.
