Data Science Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of data-driven solutions using machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, transform them into technical plans, and deploy models to production.
  • Analyze complex data sets, identify trends and patterns, and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data processing systems using cloud technologies.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in optimization methodologies, including linear/integer/nonlinear programming and heuristics.
  • Provide guidance on data science best practices and share knowledge within the team.

About Our Data Science/AI Competency Center:

We are a team of experts dedicated to leveraging data, analytics, and artificial intelligence to extract insights and build predictive models. We utilize Exploratory Data Analysis, Statistical Modeling, Machine Learning, Model Deployment, and Integration, as well as Model Monitoring and Maintenance.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience, including 2+ years of DS/Operations Research experience.
  • Experience in optimization methodologies, including use of various optimization libraries.
  • Strong Python coding skills, including object-oriented programming concepts, and basic working knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience working in cloud technologies.
  • Familiarity with theory behind various machine learning concepts.
  • Experience in CRISP-DM projects delivery and Agile project management (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Great communication skills and ability to apply independent research, gather information, and give recommendations.
