Our organization is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Trade Operations Manager. This position will oversee the management of trade and foreign exchange operations for various branches, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and process trade documents submitted by branches as the first level of scrutiny
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of all trade and foreign exchange operations for assigned branches
  • Closely collaborate with branches, trade operations, product, and compliance teams to facilitate effective transaction processing
  • Exception management, tracking transaction status, and timely resolution of queries or discrepancies raised by the trade processing unit
  • Handle client complaints and provide resolution within agreed-upon timelines
  • Engage with key clients and proactively address important matters related to their transactions
  • Familiarity with RBI, FEMA regulations, and UCPDC guidelines
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including the trade processing unit, product team, and compliance unit, to ensure seamless operations
  • Monitor and handle back-office activities of branches in an efficient manner

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Technology, Mathematics, Commerce, Arts, Science, Biology, Business, or Computers
  • 5-10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the banking or financial services sector
