Data Engineer Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to design, implement and deploy innovative data intelligence solutions. As a key member of our international team, you will work closely with cross-functional groups to develop cutting-edge products that provide actionable insights into material handling systems performance.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Design and implement scalable data & dashboarding solutions to maximize customer value.
    • Develop and automate data pipelines and dashboards to enable further project implementation.
    • Collaborate with international teams in an open and respectful atmosphere.
    • Make data available for other teams within the department to enable the platform vision.
    • Take ownership of providing the best possible solution through proactive communication and independent working style.
    • Participate in agile methodologies, create stories, and participate in refinement processes.
    • Collect feedback and continuously search for opportunities to improve existing standardized products.
    • Execute projects from conception to client handover with positive contributions on technical performance and organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent, with 4-8 years of experience in building and deploying complex data pipelines and solutions.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Databricks, Java, Databricks, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, PowerBI, Tableau, SQL, data modeling, Pyspark, Spark, Splunk (SPL), data schemas, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud services, streaming storage, and data quality management.
  • Communication Skills: Strong English communication skills.
