We are seeking an experienced researcher and engineer with a strong background in AI/ML systems to join our team. This role involves developing and deploying scalable AI systems, experimenting with large language models, reinforcement learning, and synthetic data.

The ideal candidate will have practical experience in designing, implementing, and deploying AI agents that operate reliably under enterprise constraints, including multi-cloud environments, zero-data egress, and compliance requirements.

This position bridges AI research and production engineering, requiring the ability to experiment with new concepts and implement them into enterprise-grade systems. We are looking for someone who is passionate about pushing the boundaries of what is possible with AI and has a strong foundation in deep learning, reinforcement learning, or robotics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • AI System Design and Development: Design and develop AI systems that operate at scale, leveraging large language models, reinforcement learning, and synthetic data.
  • Research and Experimentation: Conduct research and experimentation to identify new opportunities for AI innovation, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AI systems into our platform.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience building and deploying ML/AI systems at scale.
  • PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong foundation in deep learning, reinforcement learning, or robotics.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM fine-tuning, RLHF, or synthetic data generation.
  • Proven track record of shipping AI systems into production.
  • Experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP), Kubernetes, and MLOps tooling (SageMaker, MLflow, Ray, Kubeflow).
