JD Edwards Technical Specialist

Job Summary:

  • The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in JD Edwards Technical Modules, encompassing Report, Application, Business Function, NER, BSSV , UDO, Processing option, and Data Structure.
  • A thorough understanding of the development lifecycle is essential for this role.
  • Proficiency in application testing for system changes and projects is mandatory.
  • The ability to provide excellent knowledge transfer and support skills is crucial for success.
  • Effective problem-solving skills are necessary to resolve complex service requests and system defects.

This role involves providing technical support for Oracle JD Edwards systems, including:

  • Addressing level 2 application support calls with expertise.
  • Interacting effectively with business users throughout the lifecycle of a support call.
  • Providing guidance and expertise to support analysts as needed.
  • Reviewing and approving root cause analysis and workarounds submitted by team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for JD Edwards applications.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders.
