About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our QA team as a Mobile Application Automation Test Engineer. This full-time remote role requires expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining automation test suites for mobile applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Java programming, automation frameworks (Appium, TestNG/JUnit), and mobile testing (Android & iOS). They should also be proficient in API testing (Postman, REST Assured) and web testing (Selenium/WebDriver).

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for Android and iOS apps using Java-based automation frameworks.
  • Execute and manage automation tests across multiple applications simultaneously.
  • Perform API testing to validate backend services and data integrity.
  • Contribute to Web automation testing for admin, restaurant, and partner portals.
  • Run automated tests on Sauce Labs (or similar device farms) and analyze detailed result reports.
  • Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Use Docker containers for test environment setup, parallel execution, and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Java programming for test automation.
  • Proficiency in automation frameworks (Appium, intelliJ, TestNG, JUnit, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with Mobile Testing (Android & iOS).
  • Experience in API Testing (Postman, REST Assured).
  • Knowledge of Web Testing (Selenium/WebDriver).
  • Experience with Docker for scalable test execution.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based test environments like Sauce Labs, BrowserStack.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
