Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Overview:

This is a full-time on-site position for a Quality Assurance Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for test execution, quality assurance, manual testing, creating test cases, and software testing on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test plans and strategies.
  • Manual and Automated Testing: Conduct manual testing on web and mobile applications to identify bugs, defects, and performance issues. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
  • Bug Tracking and Reporting: Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using bug tracking tools like JIRA or similar. Work closely with the development team to resolve issues and verify bug fixes.
  • Performance and Load Testing: Execute performance and load testing to ensure applications can handle the required load. Analyze performance test results and recommend improvements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in QA and software testing.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • 2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing.
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, JUnit, or TestNG.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC).
