Job Title: Head of Procurement

Salary Range:$120,000 - $180,000 per annum

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will lead our procurement operations, manage relationships with partner factories, and ensure the timely and cost-effective sourcing of high-quality products for our platform. The Head of Procurement will drive procurement strategy, optimize supplier performance, and contribute significantly to the growth of factori.com.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement Management

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to ensure a robust, reliable, and diverse supply chain.

Supplier Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partner factories and suppliers to ensure consistent quality, cost-efficiency, and delivery reliability.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure the best deals while fostering long-term supplier partnerships.

Inventory and Cost Control

  • Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize costs, and avoid stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Analyze procurement spend and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Quality Assurance and Compliance

  • Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure all procured products meet factori.com's quality standards and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and enforce procurement policies and procedures to maintain consistency, quality, and transparency.

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Utilize data analytics to monitor procurement KPIs, forecast demand, and make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management, offering data-backed insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and logistics teams to align procurement strategies with market demand and sales forecasts.
  • Lead initiatives to improve supply chain processes, reduce lead times, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

Leadership and Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Set clear objectives, provide guidance, and manage the performance of the procurement team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPSM, CPM) is preferable.
  • Proven experience in procurement leadership roles, preferably within a B2B or manufacturing-related industry.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of procurement software and tools, ERP systems, and supply chain management best practices.
