Job Title: Cloud Architecture Advisor

SAP Basis Cloud architect Advisory, a position that requires experience and skills in SAP landscapes, planning, and design.


Role Description:

The role involves working closely with the sales and account executives team to understand customer requirements and create tailored landscape architectures based on selected SAP products and infrastructure. As a cloud architecture advisor, your primary responsibility will be to plan and design SAP landscapes for customers, guiding them on their journey towards the SAP RISE platform.

  • Discussing landscape architecture with customer leaders and technical teams.
  • Joining meetings to provide technical guidance.
  • Answering technical queries and presenting assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Bill Of Material Review & Analysis: reviewing the technical accuracy of the Bill Of Material to ensure obsolete version products are not selected for the SAP RISE platform.
  2. Providing Feedback: providing feedback to the Sales Team on Bill Of Material to confirm if selected products and versions are available for building.
  3. Technical Validation: performing technical validation of customer landscapes to validate product version build viability.
  4. Early Watch Reports & Technical Data Analysis: analyzing Early Watch Reports and Technical Data to validate hardware selection and sizing.
  5. Architecture, Landscape, and To-Be Work: working closely with the Sales Team on architecture, landscape, and to-be matters.
  6. Sizing the To-Be Landscape: sizing the to-be landscape for migrations.
  7. Customer Deal Support – Pre-Signature: preparing technical assessments to discuss with customers and explain their to-be landscapes.
  8. Conducting Technical Assessments: conducting technical assessments with customers.
  9. Workshops with Customers: performing workshops with customers on networking, HA concepts, and RACI reviews.
  10. Customer Deal Support – Post Signature: onboarding questionnaire support, answering questions related to delivery, and providing turnover information during the sales cycle.

To succeed in this role, you will require 6+ years of experience in a similar CAA role, possessing strong REX skills (SAP Basis, SAP HANA, and S/4 HANA), migration/upgrades experience, and expertise in any cloud platform (AWS, MS Azure, GCP). Excellent communication skills and customer-facing experience are also essential.
