Job Role: Physiotherapist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to evaluate their needs and develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings, patient goals, and clinical expertise.
  • Administer various therapeutic techniques and modalities, such as manual therapy, exercises, electrotherapy, and heat/cold therapy, to improve patients' mobility and function.
  • Work with patients who have neurological disorders or injuries, such as stroke, spinal cord injuries, or multiple sclerosis, to improve mobility and function.
  • Assist patients with heart and lung conditions to improve cardiovascular fitness, breathing techniques, and overall endurance.
  • Use techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to alleviate pain and discomfort.
  • Provide education to patients about their conditions, self-management strategies, and exercises to continue at home.
  • Help patients improve walking patterns and balance through gait training and assistive devices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in physiotherapy (MSc/PhD) from an accredited institution.
  • Current registration as a physiotherapist with the relevant national regulatory body.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
