Lead Data Strategist

About the Role:
  • Design and develop multilingual Small Language Models (SLMs) with AI capabilities for applications such as travel destination expertise and customer support.
  • Build custom Natural Language Inference (NLI) and reward-scoring models to enhance SLM training and multi-agent response quality.
  • Develop active learning pipelines for data and models, focusing on NLP, Named Entity Recognition (NER), and conversational latent intent.
  • Architect conversational AI systems to adapt and comprehend concepts/intents, NLP, and NER tasks across multiple business areas.
  • Drive quality assurance through integration testing, establishing objective evaluation metrics and A/B testing for performance optimization.
  • Mentor engineering teams in SLM and Generative AI analytics, fostering growth and innovation.
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver scalable solutions that impact millions of users.
Requirements:
  • Deep experience in NLP & NLI, tiny/small language models, and base model retraining.
  • Extensive experience in conversational NLP systems.
  • Experience in fine-tuning SLMs, SFT training, and pruning base/instruct models.
  • Experience in retriever frameworks and contrastive learning methods.
