Portfolio Management Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee portfolio details of private equity funds, ensuring timely updates and accurate financial reporting.
  • Update pre-defined investor reporting templates to enhance data visibility and insights.
  • Analyze PE fund performance using cash flows and financial reports to inform strategic investment decisions.
  • Calculate fund valuation data, including investment cost, value, and financial KPIs, to support informed investment choices.
  • Monitor operational KPIs and provide quarterly updates to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive fund track records and reconcile data to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • Calculate fund multiples and IRRs using cash flows and perform analytics to optimize investment outcomes.
  • Reconcile portfolio-level operational data, including geographical presence and leverage, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with teams to gather information and communicate client status effectively.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Post-graduate degree or professional certifications (CFA, CA, MBA, etc.) are highly valued.
  • 1-10 years of experience in finance, preferably in management reporting or operational finance, is essential.
  • Proficiency in E-front, Power BI, and Microsoft Access is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to produce high-quality work products are crucial.
  • Independent working skills, prioritization, and time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously are necessary.
  • Initiative, willingness to learn, and ability to take on responsibilities are key qualities.
  • Solutions-focused approach and ability to work in unstructured environments are vital.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with strong skills in Word and Excel, is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
