Senior Engineering Lead for Greenfield Steel Projects

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Engineering Lead to spearhead the development of greenfield steel projects. This strategic role requires exceptional leadership and technical expertise in managing cross-functional teams, ensuring timely and within-budget project completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute end-to-end engineering strategies to optimize production capacity and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary engineering subcontractors and consultants to achieve best-in-class technology upgrades and equipment maintenance.
  • Manage the design and delivery of Best Available Technology (BAT) to meet client expectations.
Requirements:
  1. 15+ years of experience in the steel industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in project engineering.
  2. Domain expertise in metals and mining, industrial products, capital goods, and process industries.
  3. Proven track record leading engineering for greenfield or major expansion projects.

Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in engineering consulting and project management, with qualifications including BE/BTech/MTech and MBA. Desirable certifications include PMP, PgMP, PfMP, Prince2. Proficiency in project planning software like Microsoft Project (MSP), Primavera P6, and other engineering project tools is essential.
