Job Title: Data Infrastructure Specialist

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in designing, optimizing, and managing scalable database architectures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing scalable database architectures.
  • Optimizing database queries, indexing, and performance tuning.
  • Ensuring data security, compliance, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Building and maintaining ETL pipelines to support AI/ML and analytics workflows.
  • Collaborating with AI engineers on vector databases and RAG pipelines.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Strong proficiency with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL, etc.).
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, etc.).
  • Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, FAISS) is a plus.
  • Expertise in database optimization, indexing, and partitioning.
  • Solid understanding of ETL processes, data pipelines, and data modeling.
  • Experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS, GCP Cloud SQL, Azure SQL).
  • Familiarity with backup, replication, and high availability strategies.
  • Strong Python/SQL scripting skills for automation.
