Job Description

  • We are seeking a skilled professional for a 6-month contract.
  • This is a full-time, work-from-home role based in Chennai.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Storyboarding - Translate the raw video footage into an accessible and engaging series of videos that enhance the student's learning experience.
  2. Storyboarding - Translate narrative scripts into an engaging and comprehensive storyboard that holds the student's attention.
  3. Visualization - Use visual medium to convey ideas and enhance learning by creating visual representations of concepts, ensuring visual consistency and harmony in the videos, and giving due attention to learner engagement.
  4. Video reviews - Check the quality of videos received from the video editors.
  5. Co-ordination with the Production team - Interact with teammates and the extended team (video editing partners) to create a top-quality product.
  6. Learning Management System - Manage content and develop assets on the Learning Management System.
  7. Learning Management System - Develop Summary Deck (based on the video content).
  8. Learning Management System - Review and Edit Closed Caption text for all the videos.
Requirements:
  • Education - Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • Experience - At least 2-3 years' work experience in a fast-paced, growth environment in a similar role.
  • Specialized knowledge - Instructional design, online learning, video-based learning, mobile learning, MS Office skills, especially MS PowerPoint skills.
  • Professional certification - Instructional design, video editing a plus.
  • Desired characteristics - Ability to work in agile methodology, ability to grasp technical concepts and simplify them visually, strong visualization and visual design skills, strong written and verbal English communication skills, innovative, attention to detail, inclination towards understanding academic content that may be complex or technical in nature.
