Investment Manager Job

We are seeking a skilled Investment Manager to lead our investment promotion efforts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Understanding the expansion plans of Indian companies into international markets.
  • Engaging with clients, generating leads, and supporting International Economic Development Agencies (EDAs & EDOs) in attracting investments in their region.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop a thorough understanding of client's proposition, geography, various sectors, business strengths of the region, tax benefits for an investor, policies, and compliances.
  2. Manage the complete Investment Promotion project of client geographies (Economic Development Organisations).
  3. Conduct evaluation meetings with Indian companies/conglomerates.
  4. Engage in discussions with CXOs of Indian companies and develop an understanding of their expansion plans in various international markets.
  5. Identify companies with business interests to invest/expand in the international markets and generate leads.
  6. Present client's geography as a potential business location for company's expansion plans.
  7. Analyze and formulate reports from data/information gathered from interactions and meetings.
  8. Engage with clients, manage delegation visits, client visits, virtual webinars, investors road shows for client accounts.
  9. Write proposals, business plan and analysis.
  10. Set up meetings with CXO level executives of qualified companies.
  11. Prepare and deliver presentations on research findings and trends on cross border investments, Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) to the clients.
  12. Interact with overseas clients and provide regular updates through the project.
  13. Prepare and deliver presentations on client's geography and proposition to international companies.
  14. Manage junior team members and mentor them through the process.
  15. Author reports containing actionable recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-4 years in Trade promotion bodies/Expert Network/Trade & Investment Promotion/Investment Attraction/SME-Corporate Banking/Economic Development/Market Entry with experience in business development and handling overseas clients.
  • Strong industry expertise and networks. Experience of business development will be preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English is must.
  • Understanding of Market Entry, Cross Border Investments, Internationalization via International market expansion.
  • Experience of New Business Development and Client Handling.
